Pembroke Pines, FL.

The PLO Bulldogs-White 10u had a commanding 8-3 lead going into the top of the 5th Inning against the Hollywood Heat, but is 10u baseball and anything can happen and quickly that It did. The 5 run lead evaporated as the Heat fought back to within 1 run, but Pitcher Richard Bello with a bit of help by his team defense managed to hold off the Heat in an 8-7 win. The Bulldogs-White will now go against their counter part in the PLO Bulldogs-Blue.

The 11 Under Open division had a new Champion crowned. Last season Champ made it back to the Championship Game after a stunning 2-1 win over the South Florida Wolfpack, but ran into a hot and well Coached Weston Hawks Black team. The Weston Hawks-Black pounded the ball against the West Pines Cobras and then went head to head against the Coconut Creek Hawks and  was a hard fought game until the top of the 6th Inning when the wheels fell off on the Coconut Creek Hawks, with the score tied at 3-3 Weston Hawks-Black went on to score 7 runs to defeat the CC Hawks 10-4. The Black Hawks then took on the Hollywood Heat and continued on pounding the ball as they scored quickly and often to an 11-4 win to capture their first League Championship.

Congratulations to the Weston Hawks-Black Team, Coaches, Players and Parents
