Tournament style Playoff Games.......while some did not like the format the Hawks didn't care to play three or four games in a day, it didn't matter to them. Ready they were. They opened up the playoffs with an 11-0 win over a very good West Pines Cobras team and then took on a much Improve Coconut Creek Hawks team that gave the Hawk-Black all they can handle. The score was tied at 3-3 going into the last Inning, when the Hawks-Black blew it open with 7 runs in the Inning.
The Hawks-Black would take on last season Champs in the Hollywood Heat and coming off a big win over the South Florida Wolfpack the heat were Pumped and ready to repeat...but they ran into a well Coached team that was not about to give up this chance and that they did not do, the Hawks-Black scored early and often on their way to a 11-4 victory and a League Championship. The Hawks-Black Pitching combination of Jesus Rodriguez, Ryan Wolf and Maxwell Kluesner kept the Heat under control.
