Bears Take the Hialeah New Year
The Bears/Bengals went 4 and 0 to win the Hialeah New Years Tournament.
Triston Casas pitched a no hitter in pool play to advance the team to the
championship game against the South Florida Extreme Team behind some incredible
pitching and some excellent defense by Louis Zayas Jr diving catch in the
outfield to save the no hitter. The game started very intense with about three
hundred spectators taking in a great game. Extreme struck first with a three run
home run in the first inning but the Bears/Bengals came roaring back with three
runs of there own to tie the game in the bottom of the first . Later the
Bears/Bengals pulled away with seven runs in the forth and holding Extreme to
only four runs in the game with some great defense . Final score Bears/Bengals
14 Extreme 4 Out of the last six tournament the Bears/Bengals are now 3 wins and
2 runner up.
