The Broward Eagles 14 & under travel baseball team won the USSSA Cobras
Heartbreaker baseball tournament in Pembroke Pines.

The Eagles went 1-1 in seeding games to begin elimination play as the #7
seed.

They defeated the #2 seed Plantation Stars  5 to 4 on 2/14 to advance to
the semifinal against the Kendall Indians.

In the semifinal on 2/15 the Eagles prevailed 8 to 2 over the Kendall Indians.

Pitcher Reilly Skizenski  dominated the game going the distance and Rafael Cotto went yard with a Homerun.

The championship game was an offensive explosion by the whole team as the Eagles 3^rd  baseman  Chris Alejo put back to back Homeruns  in his first two at bats and Peter Llerena pitched a dominating full game and defeated the Cobras 8  to 2 to claim the championship.
