After many years of trying to start the South Florida Division in Miami-Dade County, Florida Premier Sports has finally succeeded!

League President Gaspar Palmer and Javier Garcia have announced that as of December 7th, the South Florida Division of Florida Premier Sports will open its doors to baseball teams throughout the Miami-Dade County Area.
 
Florida Premier Sports has appointed Javier Garcia as the League Director of the South Florida Division. Mr. Garcia brings his experience and dedication to Florida Premier Sports and the desire to see successful USSSA Baseball back in Miami.

Mr. Garcia is currently the Director of the Flagami Baseball program which last season had 27 travel teams playing at Flagami Park.  "The support of USSSA Baseball and Florida Premier Sports will give this program the stability and quality that we're looking for," says Mr. Garcia.  "I've spent 17 years coaching baseball in Miami and it's time we bring big-time baseball back to Flagami.  Our affiliation with USSSA Baseball and Florida Premier Sports will give our teams more competitive challenges and a wide variety of teams to compete against," added Mr. Garcia.  
 
In joining Florida Premier Sports, our teams will have the ability to play in both of their divisions, the FPBL which is made up primarily of Broward County teams with some from Palm Beach County, and also the Treasure Coast Division, which primarily consists of teams from Palm Beach County, Martin County and teams from as far as Melbourne.
 
We're going to make baseball even more exciting than ever in South Florida!.... How about a State of Florida League Championship between, the League Champions of the SOUTH FLORIDA DIVISION, FPBL & TC Division...................how does that sound?
