Team Renteria explodes in the third Innings..........Bulldogs pound the Canes & more....




After a slow start in the FPBL Team Renteria is starting to put it together and If last night is any Indication watch out teams !

The Canes lead 1-0 in the top of the third Inning when two consecutive errors in the Infield and a misplayed ball in the outfield lead to Team Renteria explosion of 7 runs. Bayle Mantilla delivered the crushing blow when he delivered a two run shot over the left center fielder's head to cap the 7 run Inning.

Team Renteria's lefty pitcher Michael Ramirez was un-hitteable last night as he stifled the Canes bats allowing one hit in 4 Innings. Renteria;s Rolando Leyva pitched the last inning in relief to secure the win for Team Renteria (3-4-1) The Canes loss marked  their 6th loss in the last seven games and fell to (6-6) for the season.

 In other action last night the 12U Pembroke Lakes Bulldogs defeated the Miramr Canes with ease as the Bulldogs offense was unstopable. The 13U Canes continued their quest for their first league title as they won their contest against West Pines Cobras to Improve to 6-0 while West Pines Cobras dropped to 5-4. The SF Scorpions lead the division with an 8-2 record ahead of the Canes.
