Tonight was a night where they were some upsets and a few close games, where the outcome could of gone the other way. The 14U CS Diamonds faced the SF Extreme tonight in the battle of 2-0 teams and probably the two teams that will see each other in the finals, in the 14U Division, if the cards are dealt right. The CS Diamonds defeated the Extreme in a tight game 2-0. The Miramar Maddogs defeated the Broward Scorpions to Improve to 6-2 in the 14U American Division.

In another close contest the 10U Hialeah Tigers remains undefeated with a 2-1 win over  the Miramar Canes. The Canes loaded the bases in the bottom of the 6th Inning, but could not push that second run to tie the game. The Tigers Improve to 2-0 while the Canes dropped to 5-2. Also in the battle of the Hawks, the 12u Weston Hawks Black lost a close game against the Coconut Creek Hawks 7-6.

In another terrific game played by the Broward Blaze and the Broward Jaguars, the Blaze edged the Jaguars 1-0 to stay close to the PSN Mudcats in the 12U. These two teams do not see each other until next month.

In a sort of a mini upset the 11U Plantation Stars took on the Miramar Canes tonight and defeated the Canes who were undefeated at 6-0. The Stars Improve to 2-2-1 for the season.
