Palm Beach Gardens captured the 10U title vs West Boynton Gators 15-7.   The game was 7-7 going into the 6th inning before Gardens flexed their muscles & put up 8 runs to put the game away.  The game featured spectacular plays on defense from both teams.  West Boynton came out on fire to start the game by taking a 6-1 lead only to have Gardens come back & tie the score in the 5th inning 7-7.    PBG started the inning by loading the bases on consecutive walks before the floodgates opened with the bats.  Kyle Dorian hit a bases loaded double scoring 2 runs & then it was followed by a run scoring single by Alex Morales & then a 2 run double by Branden Jackson and finally a run scoring single by Myles Colangelo. 

 

Sunday featured some tense games in the semifinals with Palm Beach Gardens beating Royal Palm Beach Piranaz 4-2 in another fantastic baseball game in which it was all about pitching & defense.  West Boynton handled the Jupiter Hammerheads in convincing fashion to make it to the championship game.
