14u Elite Squad meets the Team Worth family......................

Squad Aguilar scores against Team Worth 15/16u

The "New" Elite Squad team met both of the Team Worth Teams yesterday in Stuart and had mixed results in both games. The first game was played against the 14U Team Worth where the Elite Squad was a bit stronger having twice the amount of players than Team Worth and handled Team Worth with ease. Steven Eljiak, Alec Byrd and Riley Skisinksky handle the Worth batters going 7 strong  Innings not allowing a run in the game. The offense was provided by Rozario (2-3) Aguilar (2-3) double & single and a run scored. Pena ( 2-2) double and triple and two runs scored.

The second game was the opposite of the the first game, while the game was played against the 15/16U Team Worth team, it was scoreless for four Innings, but two costly miscues in the infield opened up the game for Team Worth as they would score 4 runs in that inning and would end up winning the game 9-1. Team Worth hit everything we threw at them and hit it hard. Chris Guerra for teh Elite pitched three strong innings against 15/16U Team Worth. Over all I'm very satisfied with the NEW Squad. The team has lots of speed and power with decent pitching.

The Squad will play a couple more practice games, before they go to Viera to play in their first Tournament.
