In '04 the first ever Elite 16 World Series was held in Orlando and at the time it was just 16 teams and it was only for the 12's, 13's and 14's now the event has grown to not just 24 teams per division, but from 9U up to 15U divisions.

Having played in this tournament in '04 I know how Nike feels today, after losing to the Banditos Black and then being eliminated by Alabama Senators (6-4)
This is an event that will test you and your troops, but the feeling of being surrounded by the BEST 24 teams in the country and being one of the Elite 24 teams it's very special, so Nike despite loosing in its quest to conquer the Elite 24 title has nothing to be a shame, because being and Elite 24 participant is very special and there are only 24 of you...........Congratulations on your success !!          

Also, the 14U Wellington Warriors were eliminated on Thursday by the South Florida Snappers 5-3 the Snappers has since reeled off three consecutive wins and are playing this morning.
