Florida Premier Sports will host its first ever Wood Bat Tournament this coming Fourth of July. The event is to take place throughout the Treasure Coast area. Ft. Pierce, Port St. Lucie.The tournament will be a USSSA Sanctioned event with 1st  & 2nd place finish receiving birth to the ASA Wood Bat Worl Series that will take place in December in Miramar, Fl. We will be hosting ages 9U-18U participating teams will receive two wood bats. More Information to follow.

Qualifying Events for the USSSA ASA Ranking Wood Bat World Series

The Following Tournaments are the FPS / ASA Ranking World Series Wood Bat Qualifiers. Top two teams In each division qualify. An invitation will go out to teams that qualify and it must be return no laster than October 31st 2008.

USSSA 7th Annual Memorial Day Tournament, Coral Springs, Fl.
USSSA Florida Premier League, Spring Season Championship,Pembroke Pines Fl.
USSSA Pembroke Lakes Bulldog Brawl, Pembroke Pines, Fl.
USSSA 4th of July Independence Day Tournament, Port St. Lucie.
USSSA Florida Premier League,Fall Season Championship. Miramar, Fl.
USSSA Thanksgiving Turkey Shoot-Out, Coral Springs, Florida.



Games will begin on Friday morning.

Tournament Information

 

·         All Participating Teams Must Register With USSSA Baseball.

·         Rosters must be on line at www.USSSA.com  prior to start of tournament.

·         Deadline to Register June 29^th, 2008.

·         Championship Game (older divisions) possibly played at Mets Stadium, TBA.

 

The Prize

 

·         Teams will received (15) tickets for the Port St. Lucie Mets Game on July 4^th

·         Fireworks Show at the Stadium after the Game.

·         1^st & 2^nd place teams will receive a birth to the FPS / ASA Wood Bat World Series to be held in December in Miramar Florida.

·         1^st Place Team Trophy (15) USSSA Medals

·         2^nd Place Team Plaque (15) Tournament T-Shirts.

·         MVP Award for Winning Team.

                                                        

The Rules

 

·         Playing Rules are USSSA Tournament rules where if not covered, should follow that of Major League Baseball.

·         No pitching restriction in this event.

·         Each team to supply two new baseballs.

·         USSSA Certified Umpires.
