Jonathan's third Home Run of the day


The West Pines "Nike" Cobras made it 7 in a row with an Impressive sweep over the Miami Brawlers yesterday. The Brawlers are a tough team and were easily handled by the Cobras in their double header.

In the 8U division the Pines All-stars took care of the Miramar All-stars in their two games. The Pines All-stars were just to strong defensively and had enough bats to easily defeat the Miramar Pinto All-stars by the scores of 9-4 and 15-3

Miramar's bright spot was first baseman Jonathan Diaz who hit three Bombs that would have cleared a 225ft fence. Pines Improves to 4-2 and Miramar drops to 4-4

In the 11u Majors Division the West Pines Cobras took one from the WB Tornados 6-5 to inch a bit closer to the Dynasty Elite team for first place in the 11U National Div. The Tornados remain in first place in the 11u American Div with an 8-2 record. The Cobras Improve to 6-1 with their only loss coming to the hands of Dynasty. The two teams will meet on Wednesday in Pembroke Shores.

The Broward Barracudas quitely are on top in the 13u American Division with a 5-1 record tied for first place with Sunrise All-stars. The Cudas defeated the Hawks in their last game 10-8
