Midway season report..........and the big horses are starting to make a move

As we get to the midway point in the season the big horses of the FPBL are starting to take control of their division.
In the 8u division, while Wellington has been on top since the beginning, the Pines All-stars are starting to make their move. The Pines All-stars just last week took a double header from Miramar who in the previous week had taken a doubleheader themselves from the Palm Beach Thunder.

In the 9U Division the West Pines "Nike" Cobras are steady creeping up on the PSN Eagles , the "Nike" team has yet to loose at 7-0. Over in the 9U National where the competition is tight, the WB Panthers are on top at (4-5 ) with the Warriors right behind them at (4-1) lots of baseball left in this group.

Over in the 10U Majors the show-down between the defending Champion "Nike" Cobras and the Dania Thunder was not close as the Cobras jumped on top of the Thunder early in the game  and didn't look back in a  13-4 Cobras victory. The 10U AAA Division has the vastly Improved Weston Hawks at 7-0 and running away with that division...........so far there is no-one near the Hawks, their biggest challenge may come from the PL Bulldogs who are in 4th place at ( 4-3 ) those two won't get together until after spring break.

The 11U Majors National has the top two teams at the top ( Dynasty & Cobras) and will probably end-up with them being the 1 & 2 in their division. The 11U american has the WB Tornados on top, but they will face stiff competition later this month when they go against the Panthers who are in second place at (5-1)

The 11U AAA has last season Champion  Broward Blaze are (7-5-1) on top by virtue of having played more games than the Plantation Stars (6-0) Their showdown will come tomorrow when they meet at Brian Piccolo.

The 12U Broward Reddogs are starting to make their move, at (3-0) the Reddogs will get going in the next few weeks when the meet up with the Bengals and division leader Miramar Canes.

The 12U AAA American has the surprising Plantation Stars at 7-1 followed by the Pasadena Panthers at (5-0 ) The Stars and Pasadena won't see each other until later next month.

The older divisions will be done later today.....
