Anytime you play in a league or a Sanctioned event you're required to abide by the league or Event / Tournament rules and guidelines. The Treasure Coast Division is a USSSA Sanctioned League which plays by USSSA Rules with modified rules. Any team playing in the League MUST be registered with USSSA  in order to take part in the league & league playoffs. Playing in USSSA Sanctioned Tournaments means that a USSSA Roster MUST be on line and in order to play you must have it with you and in most cases they are to be turned in to the Tournament Director. Teams that are not register with USSSA and do not have an on line roster prior to playing in the league  playoffs or any USSSA Sanctioned Tournament will forfeit their first game and will NOT be allowed to take part on the League Playoffs or USSSA Tournament until a roster is turned in to the League Director or Tournament Director.

As the USSSA South Florida Area Director it is my responsibility that the rules & guidelines are followed and If they are NOT this could cause our sanctioning of events being taken from me and this area and all of this falls under my lap.

USSSA Tournaments are held throughout the Country and they attract the best competition around and to be able to have these events in our area we must comply with the Rules & Guidelines. As an Area Director I have the sole responsability of when and who can host a USSSA Sanctioned event and in order to allowed anyone to do so they must follow USSSA  procedures.

 In this past weekend " Battle of the South" event there were a number of teams that did NOT register with USSSA prior to the tournament and there are allegations that there were teams adding players to their roster after they had play in the Tournament, again this is NOT  allowed and teams can forfeit for doing so. We will take every step to make sure that any USSSA Event held in this area, the Rules & Guidelines are followed,  actions will be taken towards those team managers and teams that do not follow rules.

If you're one of those teams that are playing in the league and you have NOT register I strongly suggest you do so..............................We play fair game and we must all play by the same rules ! Teams that are NOT USSSA REGISTER WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO TAKE PART IN THE LEAGUE PLAYOFFS.
