The 11U Wellington Warriors team playing out of the Treasure Coast Division took care of business in Lantana's President Day Tournament as they became the third team from the FPBL to win that event.

The Warriors, who were the #1 seed out of pool play – lost to the PBG Predators 5-3 in their first elimination game at 8 AM on

Sunday morning.  The Warriors battled the rest of the day winning their next 4 games: 10 – 0, 16 – 1 and then defeated the

Predators twice, 11 – 3 and 17-7, to earn the championship.  These young men played 5 games in one day – finishing

around 8:45 pm on Sunday evening to WIN IT ALL, making a 14 hour day of nonstop baseball.

Phil Sieli hit 3 HR during the tournament, and pitched a complete Game during the semi finals, striking out 5 without issuing a walk.
