March Madness is over and yes the Florida Gators  won it again........but in the FPS league April is the month that may set the stage for what's to come in May. Only a handfull of undefeated teams remain in the league and by the end of this month there may only be one and here is why. The PPO Bengals last season record setting performance may happen again, but this time may not be the Bengals, If the 12U Coral Springs Diamonds have their say. The Diamonds are 11-0 this season but what's Interesting is that they meet the PPO Bengals on April 12th at Coral Glades High School, so you have last season Champion at 5-0-1 trying to defend their title and yet keep the Diamonds from achieving what they got last season which was go Undeafeated in the regular season & playoffs.......so, something is got to give in this age group.

The 10U division has the Weston Rattlers "Maroon" team getting no respect in their class at 9-0 and  their biggest challenge of the season comes tonight when they face their crosstown rival Dynasty Elite, will they continue as the only Undefeated team in the 10U Division and move to the Elites of the 10's group or will they wilt against Dynasty?....well for this one we'll know by tomorrow. The 13U has the Deerfield Dynamite team at 9-0 this season, they too will get a test when they face last season champs West Boyton Mustangs later this month. It will be an interesting month, it may not as dramatic as March Madness, but in our world of youth baseball it doesn't get any etter than this. Good luck to all!
