12U Clash of the Giants CS Diamonds vs PPO Bengals.........................
In our Pre-season tournament "Clash of the Giants" these two teams should have been the two teams standing to play the Championship game, but the West Pines Cobras took care of the PPO Bengals to prevent a show-down between the two teams who I consider to be the best in the 12U.................and that's no disrespect to anyone else in the division, but if you poll all the Coaches they would all agree with the CS Diamonds and The PPO Bengals as being the best two teams in this division...........but who's the best team right now? well the match that we've all been waiting for Including me, it's about to take place tonight at Coral Glades High School. The CS Diamonds have won a share of tournaments lately and are currently undefeated in league play at 11-0 and the team, that for the past 3 years has been at the top of their division is going to find out if they're still the dominant team that they once were..........The PPO Bengals (5-0-1) last season record setting team, going undefeated from start to finish will get a good measuring stick tonight.........who will win the game? I will NOT make a prediction, but this game reminds me of a game we had ( 12U Broward Canes) against Team Miami, at the time we had won our division at 18-0 and had cruised in the playoffs only to face crosstown rival Team Miami, they put a whopping to us 12-3 in the first game of the Championship Series, we came back to win the next two to take the Championship trophy...............although this is only game now, the hype on this game is very similar and the teams are as talented as those two teams were then................may the best team win and let sportsmanship shine on the field.
