Florida Premier Sports for the first time in it's short history will have an 8 Under division playing this season. The 8 Under will have an 11-team group from as far North as Royal Palm Beach and as far South as Tamiami Park. Teams will have the flexibility to play as many or as few games as they wish to play............teams will have the option of playing a coached pitched game or kid pitched game, or one and one, it would be their choice......."Our whole concept is to get them ready to play travel ball by next season". We want to make the transition from coached pitched to kid pitched as smooth as possible, with the evolution of travel sports many kids playing baseball are jumping from a rec program to a travel league, in  most travel leagues they start with kid pitched, we feel that this process of being able to play coached and slowly introduce them to kid pitched will develop the kids better for the future and hope that they will stay in the game longer by not being intimidated as some of them are now, when they jump from a Coached pitched game to a kid pitched game.
