Doral Dynasty 12U Majors qualifies for Wilson DeMarini Elite World Series in Atlanta Dual Super NIT
Atlanta, GA.
On the road to the finals Doral Dynasty faced powerhouses in the pool round such as Carolina Kong and War Dogs, as well as the East Cobb Braves.
The team representing the Doral Baseball Academy placed first in their Pool, upsetting the 4th and 5th best ranked teams in the tournament that saw 22 teams from 10 states and finishing with the lowest Runs Allowed of all playoff teams.
In the playoffs quarterfinals they defeated East Cobb Astros in extra innings with a 2 run HR shot to CF in the bottom of the 8th.
In the semifinals they defeated powerhouse Motor City Hitdogs that had just defeated Strike Force. With this victory, they secured paid berths to the Elite World Series and the Louisville Slugger National Championship.
In the final televised game on mlb.com, they lost 9-8 to the DKSA Elite on a monster 355 ft HR on the bottom of the 6th inning.
