The PPO Bengals Orange wins their second Fall Season Championship by defeating the Miami Mayhem. The Orange would start the 3 game final leg of the playoffs with only 9 players available on Saturday. This would be a repeat of the 2012 Fall League playoffs when the Orange suffered 3 player injuries; two during the season and one just days before the playoffs. The Orange was able to take on this challenge again by utilizing the teams pitching depth, strong defense and hot bats. The Orange was able to move through the quarter finals and semi-finals against the Plantation Stars and Miami Gladiators with only 3 pitchers. This allowed them to take the field in the finals with strong fresh arms on the bump. Hot bats were also in the mix. The Orange backed up the defense by outscoring their opponents 45-8 in playoff competition.
