(AP) MIAMI LAKES - The Miami Lakes "Panama Mutiny" defeated the Pembroke Lakes Bulldogs 7-2 to win the 2013 10u Majors Division Spring Championship on Saturday 11, 2013. After starting the season 0-3 on March 1st, the Panama Mutiny won an impressive 17 games in a row. The Mutiny had to win 3 games on championship Saturday in order to take home the title. Strong pitching performances from Lazaro Hernandez, Carlos Rey, Oscar Colindres, Armando Becerra; Adrian and Dylan Vega helped them seal the deal. The team had also won the 2012 FPBL Spring Championships as a 9u Majors team. The team will now prepare for the Elite 32 World Series where they will represent South Florida and the Florida Premiere Baseball League.
