"Friends For Life"

Pembroke Pines, FL.

They were both part of the South Florida Huskies Coached by Steve De Matties one of the original 7 teams that started the FPBL back in 2003.

As players I can remember Bradon  Reitano being a phenomenal hitter and one that had a cannon for an arm and a tough out, Patrick Grady was and is still is a "gamer", he was a terrific hitter and could always hit in the clutch, but If there is one memory that stands in my mind and it will forever was when we (Canes) played them in a playoff game and as a pitcher, lefty thrower had a devastating and deceiving pickoff move to first and on that one day he picked-off three consecutive runners at first base......those things you don't forget.

These young men, once teammates in South Florida  are re-united again in the Collegiate Summer League playing for the Penninsula Pilots. Bradon left South Florida as he was about to enter high school and moved out to North Carolina and is currently playing for Mount Olive College while Patrick Grady is in South Carolina playing for Lander University.......who would of thunk it !! after almost 8 years of not playing together........Re-united again and how nice it is to have a "Friend For Life" and all of this through the game of baseball.
