The Pembroke Lakes Bulldogs played Mo Steel in the championship game of the Heartbreaker tournament winning 8-7.  Both teams played their hearts out and went into extra innings with the Bulldogs scoring the winning run in the bottom of the 8th. The Bulldogs went 5-0-1 on their way to the tournament championship. The Bulldogs battled their way through the tournament against the Florida Pokers, West Pines Cobras and the PPO Bengals Orange as well as Runner up Mo Steel.

Tournament MVP Jordan Padilla had an outstanding tournament both at the plate and on the mound where he came out in relief twice and twice saved the day for the Bulldogs.  The Bulldogs had outstanding pitching throughout the tournament with Javi Rodil and Sebastian Lavan having dominating outings. Armani Davis, Luis Diaz, Eric Verdera, Alex Curiel, Ralphie Paulino, Miguel Useche, Conner O'Hara, Kyle Tako and JM Faye and the entire team contributed with timely hitting and outstanding defense to achieve the complete team victory.
