PLO Bulldogs and Panama Mutiny........12 Inning and 5 hours later, we have a Champion

Note: We will upload a better pic later today.

It started just before 6 PM with the top two teams in the 10u Majors Division playing for the Championship game and it looked like the Bulldogs were ready to celebrate their FPBL title, and  plans were being made  as to where they were going to go after the game and with a 5-1 lead why not, most of us would think that hey, this is in the bag.............well not so fast Charlie. Panama Mutiny mounted a rally that tied the game to send it into extra Innings and yet that's ok that is what you want to see some really good baseball and an extra Inning game makes it that more exiting, well it got really exiting but not for just one extra Inning, it went for 6 extra Innings and almost 5 hours. The game went back and forth with some great hitting and unbelievable defensive plays made on both sides, a remarkable game for these kids that are just 10 years old. The PL Bulldogs score 2 runs in the top of the 12 Inning and held off Panama Mutiny to win it and take home the title.

Congratulations to both teams, Coaches, Parents and Players on one of the best games I've seen 10 year old play. This has happened one other time and it was back in '06 when the 14u PL Bulldogs Coached by Jose Jimenez then lost to the Miami White Sox, the last team that Many Machado (MLB Rookie) played on, this game went 14 Innings and it  went 41/2 hrs long.........So, good games have a tendency to be played on Championship Sunday !

Again, Congratulations !!
