PALM BEACH LEAGUE CHAMPIONS CROWNED ! ! !

The 2012 Fall League Playoffs were more exciting than ever, 8 out of the 30 playoff games went into extra innings. 14 of the games were decided by less than 3 runs or in baseball terms, a couple of hits with men in scoring position. In the 9U division, the Florida Pokers captured their championship victory with a 14 to 6 win over the Martin County Northstars. For the 10U action we had an exciting day as the Hawks Elite beat the Treasure Coast Wildcats 13 to1 to claim the championship. The 10u division was filled with a couple of extra inning games and a total of (3) 1 run games that included a display of power by Matias Sanchez  of the Boca Dragons who blasted a 3 run homer in the bottom of the 6th to bring his team within 1 run of the Rebels who eventually won the first round game before being eliminated.

The Florida Pokers program added another championship brought home by the 11U team with a dominating victory over the PBG Thunder 11-1. The 12UAAA tournament gave the PBG Thunder program another chance at victory and smiles as they beat the St. Lucie Storm 10-1. In the 12U Majors the SF Stealth beat the Northstars in extra innings 7 to 6. A 13u div. first season team Hojo's Elite coach by former NY Mets Howard Johnson and his son Glenn knocked off a strong West Boynton Stealth team 3 to 0 in the final and establishing their presence. The 14u winner was the NPB Whitecaps who blanked the Treasure Coast Crusaders 5 to 0 in championship play.
