JEDI fights back, defeats the Raging Bulls, 12-9


Things looked bleak for the JEDI  when it trailed by seven runs in the second inning, but JEDI  recovered thanks to a key single in the fourth inning from ETHAN CUELI to pull out a 12-9 win in four innings over the Raging Bulls at Bayview Park on Sunday. 

With the JEDI trailing by one in the fourth inning, ETHAN CUELI came to the plate and singled, scoring LEO BRAVO and ANDRES PARET.  ETHAN CUELI racked up two RBIs on one hit for the JEDI. 

The two teams combined for 21 runs and 17 hits, including three extra base hits. There were eight pitchers used in the game as the two managers searched for any way to finish it off. 

DOMINIK RAMIL racked up two RBIs on two hits for the JEDI.  He singled in the third and fourth innings. 

ANDRES PARET recorded the win for the JEDI. He allowed one run over two innings. He struck out one, walked three and surrendered two hits. 

The Raging Bulls jumped out to an early 6-0 lead in the bottom of the first. A double by Ethan Dobbins, plating Jimmy Weick and Konrad Ehmke started the inning off. The Raging Bulls added more runs when Vogl scored on an RBI single by Miguel Tejada, Tejada scored on a fielder's choice, and Boros and Katsch scored on a two-run error. 

The JEDI went up for the duration of the game after the fourth inning. Additional runs came from an RBI double by ALEX MORALES, two passed balls, and an RBI single by DOMINIC RAMIL.
