Despite the windy conditions in Naples, the Ridge Rats played solid baseball from the very beginning. They scored 6 runs in the second inning of the game against the Florida Prowerls to solidify their lead in their first game of the tournament. 

They then took on the Wildcats and held them to two runs. Alain Perez pitched 3 innings for the Rats allowing only one hit, no runs, and striking out four. On Sunday they met the Hammerheads for a nail biting game.  The Ridge Rats scored first in the third inning and the Hammerheads tied them in the fourth.  The Rats clenched in the bottom of the fifth inning.  Edgar Same pitched all 6 innings for the Rats allowing only three hits and striking out three. 

In their final game they defeated the Miramar Canes who were excellent competitors. Congratulations!
