Another Succeesful Fall Nationals.........It Goes the Distance !

On a weekend where the weather was phenomenal, the competition was tops and the spirit was high and many teams wearing pink uniforms and accessories, this could not have been any better.

It ended at with the 13u Miramar Canes defeating the South Florida Stealth in another one of their classic battles, with the Canes winning in extra Innings 11-9. Over 60 teams battled for the "Crystal" and when it was all set and done, another fantastic event.

Some of the top teams in every division were present and a few surprises along the way. The 14u Division had probably the biggest upset as the West Boynton Longhorns defeated the PL Bulldogs in the semis and then took on Fireline Baseball and in a close game, they won it 3-12. The largest crown were seen in the 9u division as this division had the State's best 9's  playing here. Florida Battalion and Trinity Yankees made the trip down, but both lost in their first round of the playoffs. The Miami Outlaws beat Jr's Elite and came back to defeat the SF Stealth in the last Inning to reach the Championship game, but was defeated by Team MFS Legends 5-1

The 10u division had PL Bulldogs taking on the Parkland Pokers and it a very close game the Bulldogs edged out the Pokers 4-3

The largest pool of teams was in the 11's with 13 teams and some really good baseball was played. Last Year's Fall/Winter Champion Team MVP repeated as Champion as they defeated the Hialeah Giants.

Although we only had 9 teams in the 12's, the numbers did not lacked the competition, these 12 teams are among the top in the state. This year's Elite World Series participant Weston Hawks-Black defeated a tough minded Northstars team 8-7 to capture their first Fall Nationals Championship
