Stealth "War on the shore"

Paul Lanoce leads SF Stealth onto  Championship Game

The Stealth organization hosted its first of many tournaments to come this past weekend at Lantana sports complex. What a great weekend of baseball it was!

The 13u South Florida Stealth team which is formerly Team Easton won the 13u division title but it wasn't easy. The SF Stealth went 1 and 1 in seeding and went into pool play as the #5 seed. The SF stealth would line up against the team that just beat them 4 to 1 in seeding, the Miami Cardinals. The SF Stealth would get their revenge when it counts, beating the Cardinals 12 to 0. The road to the championship didn't get any easier lining up against the always tough Piranaz. This game would be a battle of great pitching with Sean Houck on the mound for the Piranaz and Paul Lanoce on the hill for the SF Stealth. With both pitchers going through 5 innings the game remained close. With timely hitting by the Stealth and superior pitching from Paul Lanoce and Havier Sans the SF Stealth would win 5 to 2.

Now the SF Stealth would have to play against the newly formed West Boynton Stealth for the championship! Logan Cook would get the start for SF Stealth and he would not be denied, going 6 strong innings for the 3 to 2 victory.

Scott Blair is the general manager of both Stealth teams and he couldn't be more pleased with early success of both teams. The WB Stealth had already won their first tournament and now have a 2nd place finish in only their second tournament. Expect great things from both teams this year! GO FPBL!!
