Nick Casteallnos and Manny Machado were FPBL All-stars before they were MLB Minor League All-Stars, but this stage its a bit bigger now, then it was back in '03 when they were part of the first FPBL All-star Game.

Nick Castellanos blasted a three run shot over the center field wall to lead Team USA over Team World All-Stars. Castellanos finished the day with two singles and a home run with three RBI's and 3 runs scored and was named the All-Star MVP, while his FPBL teammate Manny Machado went 1-3 with a  double and two RBI's

These two players have shot up in the in the Minor League system with tremendous play, the two are highly likely to be up in the pros within the next year or so. Machado is currently in the Orioles AA system while Casteallnos is also in AA with the Tigers. These two were drafted in 2010 Machado was the 3rd pick overall while Castellanos was the 44th pick in the first round. Congratulations to both and continue success.
