South Florida Blaze – Runner-UP at Nations Park National Invitational Tournament

The South Florida Blaze finished 2nd at the Nations Park National Invitational Tournament the week of June 30th –July 5th, which was the events inaugural week.  The tournament is the called the “Cooperstown” of the South. The Blaze made it to the final by beating a very tough #4 seeded SF Knights and then beating the #1 seeded powerhouse - West Pines Cobras.  

The Blaze finished the week 8-2, losing in the final to the Chain Dirt Dogs from Savannah, GA.  The week was filled with a lot of great memories and a lot of great baseball.  During May, June and July the Blaze went 19-3-1.

It took a total team effort to advance to the Championship game and all the boys played extremely well all week.
