South Florida Blaze – Runner-UP at Nations Park National Invitational Tournament

The South Florida Blaze finished 2^nd at the Nations Park National Invitational Tournament the week of June 30^th –July 5^th, which was the events inaugural week.  The tournament is the called the “Cooperstown” of the South. The Blaze made it to the final by beating a very tough #4 seeded SF Knights and then beating the #1 seeded powerhouse - West Pines Cobras.  

The Blaze finished the week 8-2, losing in the final to the Chain Dirt Dogs from Savannah, GA.  The week was filled with a lot of great memories and a lot of great baseball.  During May, June and July the Blaze went 19-3-1.

It took a total team effort to advance to the Championship game and all the boys played extremely well all week.
