Outlaws win another one...Champs again!


The Outlaws do it again! They win another Championship title as they defeated the Miami Enforcers 12-8 in a slugfest. The Outlaws go a perfect 5-0 in the tournament as they outscored their opponents 60-26. They defeated the Miami  Phenoms 20-1 to start the tournament and then beat the Pokers 15-9 to take the #2 seed. They got a rematch vs. the Phenoms and beat them 7-3 to advance to the semi finals vs the Juniors Miami Elite. The Outlaws pulled off a victory as Anthony Ruiz doubled in the last inning to break a 5-5 tie and lead the team to another Championship game. Eddie Rueda and Tito Gomez toed the rubber vs the Enforcers and they both pitched an amazing game. Marlon Miranda came in the 6th inning to close the 3 hour long game as the Enforcers tried to rally back. It was Marlon second straight closing appearance of the day which lead to his MVP trophy. He pitched 3 innings in 2 games allowing no runs, 2 hits and striking out 4 batters. We also saw some amazing hitting on Sunday as Anthony Ruiz went 4-7 with 2 doubles and 2 triples. Jameson Caro hit a 3 run monster Home Run to put the Outlaws up early in the 1st inning vs the Enforcers. Tito Gomez and Joey Mincey both went 2-3 in the Championship game helping the Outlaws seal the deal. The Outlaws travel to Sarasota for the invitational Elite 8 Battle for the Belt to try to claim the undisputed #1 team in Florida.
