South Florida Stealth 11U Win USSSA District One Tournament

The first ever District One Championship was held this past weekend in Plantation. The very competitive 11U Division was capped with a Finals battle between 2 of the best teams in the nation, the Weston Black Hawks and the South Florida Stealth.  The Stealth came out on a mission putting up 4 runs in each of the first 2 innings getting key hits up and down the lineup. The Hawks fought back making it a 10-9 game going into the top of the sixth when the Stealth exploded for 8 runs led by a 3 run homerun by Bryan Epstein to put the game out of reach. Blake Bauer closed out the bottom of sixth to preserve the 18-9 win and the Championship for the Stealth.
