Diaz, after his 3-run blast

Team Florida will go after their first Wood Bat Tournament victory today as they will battle South Florida teams. It didn't take them long to get acclimated with the lumber as they pounded their opposition in pool play. Team Florida defeated the West Pines Cobras and the Sugarcanes by pounding the ball, Florida's Darius Diaz blasted a 300+ shot over the left field fence that landed near the top of a second story home.

Team Florida will take on the ML Outlaws this morning and will try to get their first Wood Bat Tournament win.
