Early lead gives PPO Bengals Orange easy victory over West Pines Venom, 11-1

PPO Bengals Orange jumped out to an early lead on West Pines Venom and captured an 11-1 victory on Sunday at pembroke shores.

Nine runs in the first three innings allowed PPO Bengals Orange to put the game away early.

An RBI single by Mark Diaz and a two-run double by Kevin Iler in the first inning and an RBI single by Brett Causey in the second inning helped PPO Bengals Orange put some runs on the board early.

Diaz was steady at the plate for PPO Bengals Orange. Diaz went 2-3, drove in one and scored two runs.

#23 had a sound game at the plate for West Pines Venom. #23 went 2-2 and drove in one. #23 singled in the first inning and doubled in the fourth inning.

PPO Bengals Orange piled up the steals, swiping eight bags in all. Andres Dilone, Causey, Adrian Vasquez, and Nick Ferarro each had one stolen base and Diaz and Christian Muniz each had two stolen bases.

PPO Bengals Orange added five more runs in the top of the third. A clutch bases loaded walk scored Diaz to set the tone for the inning. That was followed up by Daniel Moreno's single, bringing home Vasquez.

PPO Bengals Orange piled on two more runs in the top of the fourth. A clutch wild pitch scored Dilone to start the frame. That was followed up by that scored Christian Smith.
