It's getting Bigger & Better !!........over 600 Managers and Coaches attended the FPBL Meeting yesterday at the Coral Springs Marriott Hotel.

The largest pool of Managers and Coaches attended the meeting as we get ready to kick off the FPBL's 16th Season. Over 250 teams will play in the league this season with a lot to look forward to. Fox Sports was on hand as they Interviewed Coaches and League President Gaspar Palmer for a piece that they will air out later this month.

On board with the FPBL this season is our newest League Sponsor Sports Authority and on hand was Marketing Director Melanie Crep with a lot of goodies for the Coaches, Melanie raffled off Coaches Kits valued over $ 100.00 and team(15) gifts cards of $ 15.00 & $ 10.00 each.

William Saunders, from USSSA Baseball was our guess and talked about rosters, USSSA Upcoming Events and answer questions concerning USSSA baseball.

Invited to the meeting was our UIC Dick Rushin, who has made a big difference in South Florida with our USSSA events. Dick is in charge of all of our umpires and oversees all USSSA Events.

An outstanding day, with a lot of new "Stuff" in the FPBL this season. League Champions will get a PAID berth to the Utrip World Series in Orlando.

Playoffs will be spread out into different Parks, that will Include Lantana Pak, Jupiter and Pembroke Shores park to go along with Sail Fish park In Stuart. Also, this season we will crown three league Champions in three different classifications, that will Include AA, AAA & Majors and to top it off the two leagues, will crown the FPS League Champion, this will have the TC/Palm Division Champion & Runner-up square off against the FPBL Champion & Runner-up in the AAA division.......this is to take place in Jupiter on May 21/22.

Also, the FPBL is getting together with Frank Difefe and the Weston Hawks Organization for a tournament as a fundraiser for the families of Amanda Haworth and Roger Castillo, these two officers were fatally shot last week while serving a murder warrant.

Also, Florida Premier Baseball will take part in the ALL FLORIDA UNITED Championship, which will include teams from AAU Baseball Utrip and FPBL.  To take part in this event you must win a qualifier for this event. Below you will see the qualifiers. We will have more Information in the next few days.
