The PPO Bengal's 9U wins the South Florida Knights Challenge.  We played 9U with 10U rules.  We played with 3 outfielders.  We had to beat the Weston Hawks twice.  Once in a seeding game, and than in the championship game.  We came from behind in the championship game.  Down 6-1 in the 5th inning, we scored 8 runs to go ahead 9-6.  But the Hawks didn't give up.  They had the tying run on third and winning run on second with 1 out.  The next batter hit a line drive to center field where we got the out and held the runner on third.  And the third out was a pass ball, and the catcher got the ball to the pitcher in time to get the out at home.  An incredible come back for the Bengal's.  We played the likes of the West Pines Cobras, and the Margate Makos.  The Bengal's went 5-0 in this tournament.  This was a great 9 team tournament.  Go Bengal's!!!
