10u Piranaz Capture Alabama's Super NIT............12u D1-Elite Also, Wins WS Elite 32 berth


The Royal Palm Beach Piranaz captured the Alabama Super NIT.  The 10u Piranaz defeated the 10U Southern Sluggers in the first elimination game 10-3.  Angel Tiburcio added a 3 run homer and Xavier Edwards added 3 hits.  Xavier Smith, Raymond Sanchez and Nick Adams added hits as well.  Charlie Von Werne collected 2 hits and pitched a gem of a game keeping the Slugger hitters off balance for most of the game.  The Piranaz defeated the Legends from  Texas in the semi finals 8-5.  The Piranaz jumped out to an early 8-0 lead and never looked back. Ethan Levi pitched a complete game striking out 4 and allowing 5 hits.  Levi threw a total of 62 pitches over 5 innings to seal the victory.   Each of the Piranaz hitters collected a hit in the game. (Sean Houck single, Jason Fox double, Xavier Edwards single,Raymond Sanchez single, Nick Adams single, Angel Tiburcio single Charlie Von Werne single Brock Chase single.  In the championship game against a determined Stealth Bombers team from Georgia, the Piranaz received an outstanding pitching performance from Sean Houck.  Houck struck out 9 batters and walked 1 in route to the complete game.  Tournament totals for the Piranaz.  The Piranaz pitching staff, Xavier Smith Kyle Acosta, Brock Chase, Charlie Von Werne, Ethan Levi and Sean Houck combined to strikeout 29 hitters and issued only 6 walks iin 5 games.  The Piranaz allowed a total of 10 runs for the tournament.  Congratulations to the Piranaz players Sean Houck, Jason Fox, Xavier Edwards, Raymond Sanchez, Nick Adams, Charlie VonWerne, Kyle Acosta, Ethan Levi, Xavier Smith, Andrew Johnson, Brock Chase, and Angel Tiburcio.  Congrats to the coaches Jovon Edwards, Leroy Houck, Jeff Fox, Warren VonWerne, and Manager Gary Chase.  The Piranaz look forward to representing the FPBL in the Elite 32 World Series in Disney.  Go Piranaz!!!, Go FPBL!!!

Several teams from South Florida made the trip and one of them was the 12u D1 Elite which came out victorious and will make the trip to the Elite 32 World Series in Orlando later this summer.....Congrats to both teams
