They came out to play in these playoffs ! while many doubted that they couldn't do it, no one from the Cowboys had any doubt, they knew that despite playing in this season what some consider the weaker pool in the 11u Division their squad was that good that could beat what people consider the best teams in the 11u Division in the PL Bulldogs and the West Pines Cobras........well, that they did. The Cowboys coached by Curt Keyser surprised many including myself, in their semifinal game when they took down the West Pines Cobras 10-0 and yet some said, that may have been a fluke and as I told my Assistant Director, hey that was no fluke, they can flat out play. The Cowboys took on the PL Bulldogs and by the third inning they too found themselves trailing 8-1. The Cowboys went on to win their first ever FPBL Championship 11-3 over the PL Bulldogs.
