The Weston Rattlers beat a well rounded Key West Sun Caps team. The Rattlers scored a couple of runs in the first Inning of their tall lanky ace Besson, but Key West would answer right back with a run of their own. In the top of the 3rd Inning the Rattlers put it all together scoring 3 more runs to take a 6-1 lead, but again the Sun Caps would respond with a couple of runs, but that's all they would get the rest of the way as pitchers Ramon Martinez, Lopez and Malave would shut down the Sun Caps until the last Inning where they score one more run making the final score 6-4 and give the Rattlers the League Championship in the 12u Select Division

The Key West Sun Caps team played in the Premier League this season for the first time ever and according to Coach Peter Fraga they had a blast. Making the trip from down the Keys was tough, but they enjoyed it and are looking to doing it again. They will play this week in the Nations Memorial Day Tournament in Coral Springs.
