After two days of banging it with the LUMBER..................through the Infield, well in some games, but the first homer with the lumber took place last night In Silver Lakes Park where 11u Bulldogs pitcher Alex Toral blasted a two out 2-run home run over the 200 ft right field fence to give the Bulldogs a 2-0 lead that would eventually hold up against a tough Cobras team. In other action the 12u Miami Playmakers defeated the Pro Ball Cobras 3-0 while the Miramar Canes and the Predators played to a scoreless affair 0-0.

The defense and pitching will dominate in this type of Tournament, don't be surprise if you see one of the so call BIG DAWGS go down to early in the count.

Day 3 of the tournament will have the northern teams taking on the south, 12u Frozen Ropes returns to face the Miami Playmakers tonight, while the 11u West Boyton Cobras will take on the PSN Eagles.  The 9u Division has the Thanksgiving Turkey Shoot-out Champion taking on the PPO Bengals.

Hey, If you are not playing but want to see some good baseball, then come on by and try the food, specially the ARROZ CON POLLO(yellow rice & chicken) the only tournament serving food that you will only see at 5-star Restaurant..............just kidding, but it is delicious.

We're also having a home run derby for the 11's & 12's come out and participate.
