They brought out their Bongos and Pureto Rican chants and like all Hispanics are they were into the game. They defeated the League runner-up Nike Cobras in pool play and tied the Weston Hawks and a win over the Spartans would have send them to see the League Champion in Leon Medical Center in the semifinal, but perhaps looking past the Spartans was not a good idea. The Spartans put the game away with a barrage of runs late in the game to defeat the Potros from Puerto Rico 7-1 and will now take on their biggest challenge against Leon Medical Center this morning and on the other side of the bracket you have the Weston Hawks playing against Nike with the winner advancing to the Championship Game.

In other tournament news, 9u league Champion Mo Steel goes down to the Weston Hawks in the Championship Game.After losing to Mo Steel in league's semifinal game, where they gave up a 6 run lead in the last Inning  the Hawks got their revenge as they took care of business in a 10-6 win. Also, in the 10u  league Champion PPO Bengals goes down to the Weston Hawks 6-5 while the Margate Titans defeated the Miramar Canes 10-9 quarterfinals. The final four has the Titans against the Hawks while the West Pines Cobras go against the RPB Piranaz.

The 8u Division has the League's final two in the semis and probably on their way to yet meet again. The RPB Hammerheads will play the winner of the Cobras & Maddawgs game, while the Sandlot awaits the winner of  Acreage Arsenal and Okeeheelee Red.

The 13u Division has the Boca Thunder going against the Miami Outlaws the team they eliminated in the USSSA Fall Nationals and the other side of the bracket has two teams that know each other very well in  Dynasty Elite going against their league rival Panthers Baseball, this should be an Interesting match.

The 14u has the Miramar Canes trying to redeem themselves after a disappointing early exit in the league playoffs. The Canes will take on the Pasadena Pirates this morning with the winner advancing to face the  CS  Sandlot....................Good luck to all in the final day of the Turkey Shoot-Out
