The Weston Hawks team coached by Frank Difede is starting to turn the corner. After a slow start in league play and losing some close games, the team failed to make the league playoffs in the very tough division that they were in. Despite losing to Leon Medical Center & Nike Cobras during the regular season, the Hawks had an Impressive tournament in the Coral Springs Turkey Shoot-out. The Hawks tied the talented Puerto Rican team Potros in pool play and defeated the Nike Cobras on a walk-off shot to reach the Championship Game against Leon Medical Centers. The Hawks lost to Leon, but despite the loss have to feel good about their team. Congratulations to the Hawks & Coach Frank.
