Big game in the 9U Division between the Bengals and the Bulldogs!!!..........10u PPO Bengals runs past Canes

The Bengals were able to come from behind in the last inning to take down a very important game.  The  Bulldogs tied the game in the 4th inning at 4 all, and than took the lead in the 5th inning by 1.  But the pitching hurt the Bulldogs in the bottom of the 6th.  Jonathan Sosa gets on base on a four pitch walk, and than steals second. John Cardena gets on base on a walk as well.  Alberto Rodriguez Jr. puts down a great bunt down first and moves over the runners.  With the winning runner on second, Jonathan Rodriguez gets on base with a hit by pitch to load up the bases.  But with a big running mistake, Noah Perez hits a pop fly to left center, and the runner was not able to tag up.  Now with two outs, Christian Vargas gets walked, and we tie the game.  On second pitch to Kevin Barreneche was a wild pitch and we were able to score the winning run.  It was a great game.  Both teams played good baseball.

In the 10u division the PPO Bengals got their revenge against the Miramar Canes last night. After being no-hit last week by the Canes the Bengals came out swinging. PPO Bengals pounded and ran their way to a 12-0 over the Canes. The teams came into the game with identical 7-4 record and tied for third place in the International Division and the win gave the Bengals sole possession of third place.
