The Plantation Stars 9U team participated in the recent Super NIT in Coral Springs and walked away with a Second Place finish and earned 225 USSSA points.  The 9U Stars competed against eight other teams in the 9U Age Division single elimination tournament and hit their way into the championship game by defeating the Okeeheelee Indians (3-2) and the Hollywood Heat (10-6).  The 9U Stars played the final game against the Margate Titans yielding by a score of 13-6.  The 9U Stars came in Second Place (Runner Up) in two Triple Crown Tournaments last season as an 8U team.
