The Miami Sugar Kings 11u won the USSSA Spring Slam going 5-0. A big part of their success is due to their pitching staff that held their opponents to 5 runs total throughout the tournament. This was no easy task considering they had to do it against the likes of the Miami Brawlers, Team MVP, Florida Lions and the Piranaz. Timely hitting and a solid defense helped them as well.

Coaches and parents could not be any prouder of their boys. This team has been playing together for less than 4 months. Having to go through early season struggle and key injuries, the team is showing signs of putting it together and giving the fans a taste of what’s to come! The Sugar Kings look to build on their success with the upcoming Florida Premier Playoffs.
