FPBL's 17th Season Comes to an end.......133 teams make the playoffs
Sandlot 9u League Champion and WP Cobras Runner-upThe season has OFFICIALLY come to an end. The 2011 FPBL season was by far the most challenging in the league's 8 year history. This season 133 teams were part of the league playoffs in three age classifications and 7 divisions, this does not Include another 20 teams participating in the Inter-league Championship Series in 5 divisions. We used 4 different playing facilities in three different counties, not counting teams that hosted their first round games. So, to say a CHALLENGING season may be an under statement, but overall a very successful season.
It takes a lot of people to make this happen and it starts with all the Coaches and parents who are truly devoted individuals and many of them have been in this league for 6 years.......to you all, I Thank you !
Special Thanks, goes out to the City of Pembroke Pines, WPPO Club & Staff, City of Miramar, Miramar Optimist & Staff, the Town of Lantana, Rob Murphy, Scott Blair and the JTAA Staff of Paul Costa and Rick Clark, Thank you Guys, you are ALL a big part of the success of the FPBL.
Congratulations to ALL League Champions !!!!
