Suarez, Garcia, Fernandez and Brizuela Among former FPBL Players chosen in the MLB Draft.

MLB Draft had a total of 10 players chosen from the Miami-Dade and Broward County High Schools. Some of these players started their baseball career in the FPBL and a trio of Bulldogs head the list.
Andy Suarez, (9th round) Alexander Fernandez(46th round) and Jose Brizuela(46th round) all played back in the day with the Broward Bulldogs coached by former Marlins player and current FPBL Coach Alex Fernandez. There were others chosen, Aramis Garcia a former Miramar Canes & West Pines Cobras player was drafted by the St. Lois Cardinals in the 20th round, Jecid Tarazona (47th round), Luke Guarnaccia a former Davie Broncos player was drafted in the 17th round by the Mariners a total of 6 known players were taken in this year's MLB Draft.........Congratulations to all and Continue Sucess !!
