Champions Crowned in Games played in Pembroke Pines & Lantana

Pembroke Pines:

While it was sunny and beautiful all day Saturday in Lantana in  Pembroke Pines was a different story. Friday's games were postponed and then Saturday's games were pushed back to 12:30 due to the fields being under water. Once the fields were ready play it was beautiful baseball to watch. The 10u American North/South Division, 13u AA & 13u Premier Elite were all completed and League Champions were crowned. Finals in the 8u Division, 11u & 12u Premier were to be played Sunday, but that was postponed along with the League Championship Games in the 11u AAA, 12U AAA and 13U AAA & 14U Open.

We had hope to conclude all league games today, but as it has been all season long mother nature did not cooperate.

Out in Lantana, it was baseball all day long and some teams redeemed themselves after losing last week in the qualifier for the League Championship.

I'd like to personally Thank Todd Nelson from the West Pines Cobras for all of his hard work in getting fields ready, also Rob Murphy for his outstanding job in running this weekend playoffs games in Lantana.

Congratulations to ALL !!
