The 12U West Pines Cobras rallied through the 2011 FPBL Fall playoffs to take the Championship for the third time. The Cobras beat Team Easton in the 1st round in a unanswered eight run comeback. In the 2nd round, Cobras faced and defeated the top ranked South Florida Extreme (with outstanding pitching from Mark Vientos and Kyle Acosta) to secure a spot in the Championship game against the PPO Bengals. In the championship game, the Cobras came roaring back from a five run deficit to overpower the Bengals. Offensively the bats awoke with huge hits, Arrison Perez smoked a two RBI triple to deep left field near foul line and Isaac Quinones followed with a two RBI double towering deep center field. The game was lead by a great pitching performance from Al Ortiz, a strong close out by Arrison Perez and solid catching from Louie Calvo.
